Stay Strong, Fort McMurray!
The sudden wildfire raging in the beautiful oilsands city Fort McMurray in Alberta has forced over 88,000 residents to evacuate. These residents had no other choice but to abandon their hometown within a very short period of time.
In the face of such a devastating incident, Canadians of all walks of life have reached out their helping hands. Canadians help Canadians. With a few days after the fire, Canadian Red Cross has raised $30 million to help the evacuees.
As a member of the Canadian society, the New Immigrant Entrepreneurs Association (NIE) calls on its members, Chinese communities in Canada as well as all Canadians to pray for Fort McMurray and provide help as much as possible.
For donations to help Fort McMurray, please contact local Red Cross institutions or go to the official website of Canadian Red Cross at: http://www.redcross.ca/
